time flies
Yesterday, a couple at church brought their brand new little baby girl. she was a tiny bub, weighing 6 lbs 5 oz when she was born not even two weeks ago. as i looked at her, i could not even fathom that Judah was almost 2 lbs lighter! How quickly we forget! Judah is growing up right before my eyes; sometimes as I'm holding him or watching him sleep, I have to remind myself to just BE there and enjoy every moment with him, because he will be all grown up before I know it. Time flies way too fast...

first tooth!
judah cut his first tooth today! i just noticed at dinnertime...i've been pretty sure that he was teething lately, so i've been checking his gums frequently. where there was nothing yesterday, there is a decent-sized tooth coming through today on his bottom right! and it looks like lefty will be pushing through any day now.

swimming lessons!
Judah had his first swimming lessons today! Mommy took him into the pool, and daddy watched from the sidelines. Although Judah was one of the youngest babies in the class, he did very well! He even went under water (very briefly!) a few times, which didn't seem to phase him at all! In fact, mommy was probably more afraid that Judah was! Judah seemed to enjoy splashing around in the warm water very much. We're looking forward to next week's lesson!Saturday, July 2, 2005
