what, no pictures this week?

it seems i have failed at the task of ever-obsessive, constant picture-taking, doting mommy. i missed a week (the second week ever...week seven was the pinnacle of Judah's colic ordeal)...

or perhaps it was just a very busy week. working full-time, keeping a house clean, keeping up with an active toddler...

really, there's no excuse, is there?

i'll try harder next week, i promise.

one year old

As of right now (11:50 pm), Judah Nathaniel is offically one year old.
Oh my goodness! Can someone please tell me where the time has gone?!

as he sleeps beside my right now, i just can't imagine my life before him. yet it feels like yesterday that i went into pre-term labour. we are so blessed to have such a beautiful and healthy baby boy. he has brought so much joy into our lives in the short year that he has been around. i look forward to many more years! being a mommy is the best!

my birthday party!

tomorrow, i turn one! so mommy and daddy put together a very nice birthday party for me today. if you can't tell from the pictures, the theme was Blue's Clues, and it turned out really well. the party was a lot of fun and the food was SO yummy! thanks, mommy and daddy!

the cakes were really, really yummy. everyone loved them and couldn't believe that they didn't have eggs or milk in them (except for cake #3, which had cream cheese icing).
