The evening of December 23rd, we did our own family thing, because the next few days were booked with Ennema and Breimer family gatherings, and we really like the idea of doing the gifts in the evening so that we can focus on Christ's birth on Christmas Day.
Our 2 foot tree in all its glory!
Mommy and Judah
Daddy and Judah
The best family picture we could get! Judah's hands are shoved WAY back in his mouth because his molars are coming in!

Judah's first gift was this Mega Bloks wagon. He took to it right away.
Ooh, this one's shiny!
He didn't get too into the unwrapping, but his reaction to the Bob the Builder DVD set was adorable!
His stocking present - Peek-a-Blocks!
The rest of the evening didn't go exactly as planned. I put Judah to bed and fell asleep for twenty minutes myself, and when I came downstairs, Rob had fallen asleep on the floor! So much for the yummy fondue we had planned! But sleep is better, especially when your 10-month-old baby is teething!
On Christmas Eve, we got together with Rob's family for dinner, gifts, and fellowship. It was so nice to spend time together with the whole family.
All the Ennema grandchildren. There are five now! The family is growing so quickly!
Barb and Brittany
Tricia and Justin
Judah and Brittany are 10 weeks apart. It was so cute to see them playing together.
Opa and Elizabeth
Grace
Tom and Luca behind the cameras!

The kids had fun opening presents and bringing presents to the babies.
One of Judah's presents from Auntie Julie and Uncle Ed. We love Tigger!

Judah opening his present from Oma and Opa. More Mega Bloks. He LOVES them!

We spent Christmas Day with my family. I didn't make it to church because I was feeling really lousy, but Rob and Judah went to my parents' church and then we went over to their place. Aside from my missing Christmas Dinner (I, unfortunately, had a date with the toilet) and doing puzzles with the family because I was sick in bed, it was a good day. Judah had a lot of fun playing with the family.
One of our family traditions is to do a puzzle every year at Christmas time.
The Christmas tree and the massive pile of presents beneath it!
The kids and the beloved first grandchild! Give it a few years and we'll look just like the Ennema clan!
Mom and Dad
Grandma couldn't wait until the evening for Judah to open his gifts, so we she gave him one early in the afternoon!
Judah seemed to appreciate the box more than anything!
Judah opening his big gift from grandma and grandpa...

A covered sleigh!

Some pictures in the new ride!
Judah's new winter hat
